“Compete with one another in hastening to forgiveness from Allah SWT and a Garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous” (Qur’an 3:133-134).
The concept of musabaqah, or competition, is emphasized in the Qur’an as a means to strive for goodness and righteousness. This verse encourages believers to engage in a positive competition to seek forgiveness and earn the ultimate reward. It highlights the importance of hastening towards virtuous goals and working diligently to attain them. By embracing musabaqah with this perspective, we can harness its potential to drive personal and collective growth while seeking the pleasure of the Allah SWT Almighty.
